Possible side effects

I appreciate what parenteral nutrition has done for me.
“Any action I can take to possibly improve my activity level needs to be carefully considered.”

Some common side effects of Zorbtive® [somatropin (rDNA origin) for injection] include muscle and joint pain and fluid retention (swelling).

Zorbtive may also cause serious side effects such as:

  • inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis)
  • diabetes or other blood sugar problems
  • pain, numbness or tingling in your wrist and hand
  • increased blood pressure on your brain

Make sure to tell your doctor about any side effects you may experience.

Call your doctor right away if you experience tingling in your hands or wrists, increased thirst, increased urination, dizziness, swelling of the head, face, hands or feet, unusual headaches, or problems with eyesight, nausea or vomiting.
